Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many other chronic pain conditions. Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic cases.

Meet Denise! A graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Denise has been a registered massage therapist for 11 years. She is dedicated to improving her clients’ mobility, reducing muscle tension, and addressing imbalances that contribute to chronic pain.

Denise creates personalized treatment plans that support long-term health and functional movement. She incorporates a variety of techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, PNF stretching, and relaxation techniques. She is also certified in myofascial cupping and Indie Head Massage and participated in an outreach program providing care for women with high-risk pregnancies during her training.

Believing that movement is the key to a vibrant, pain-free life, Denise takes a holistic approach to her practice, recognizing that every body is unique and requires thoughtful, customized care that focuses on mobility.

When she’s not helping clients feel their best, Denise expresses her creativity through art. She works with both acrylics and watercolors and manages a startup Etsy shop where she shares her paintings. She also enjoys the outdoors—paddling, camping, and hiking scenic trails, where she finds both joy and inspiration.

Meet Alex! She graduated with honours from the massage therapy program at Georgian College in December of 2018. She has been a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since January 2020 and is in good standing. She has recently graduated with honours from the acupuncture program at Georgian College and hopes to be a registered acupuncturist in the next year.
